Festive show at Norton Canes High School with a new twist on A Christmas Carol
AMCS are bringing a new version of A Christmas Carol to Norton Canes High School on November 14-15.
Based on the traditional Christmas Carol story, this is a pantomime version with new ghosts, a Dame in Aunty Mistletoe, mischievous elves, and a host of new songs including a 70s disco medley, You Will Be Found, Anything You Can Do, Sound of Silence and Merry Christmas Everyone. It is full of comedy and lively musical numbers with something for everyone.
This show has been written and directed by Richard Beckett, who is also taking the lead role of Scrooge, he said: "It has been a real pleasure taking on this role of director for the first time. Although full of different challenges, it has been brilliant to see the show and characters all come to life. I hope the audience enjoys watching it as much as we have done rehearsing it!"
There are two evening shows on Friday, November 14 and Saturday, November 15, and also a matinee on the Saturday. Tickets available from £12.50 at: seaty.co.uk/Christmascarol
AMCS have been performing for nearly 60 years with a huge variety of shows and next June will bring Little Shop of Horrors to the Rugely Rose Theatre.
