Attended by representatives from the Environment Agency, Severn Trent, and Staffordshire County Council, alongside local business owners, the meeting discussed how a cross-agency approach could best deliver a much-needed long term solution, while better addressing the flooding in the interim.

Leigh Ingham, MP for Stafford, Eccleshall, and the villages said: “Following my open forum with 65 residents, the Taskforce meeting was a constructive opportunity to raise the findings with the relevant agencies and discuss how we can best support residents by working as a cross-agency group.”
