This Summer, Wolverhampton based innovative events company, Dangerous Sheep Events Ltd, will be back delivering, what is thought to be the UK’s only festival dedicated to the over 65’s, called V.I.P Fest
The event was designed by husband-and-wife team, Kevin and Michelle Taylor after recognising their own musical tastes, like many, growing up listening to music from Grandparents and Parents with massive influences from the 50’s to the 70’s
V.I.P Fest provides something for our Very Important Pensioners, to put on their calendars and look forward too, giving a fun packed mid-afternoon of outdoor musical entertainment from the above eras.

The mini-festival, in previous years has been delivered with great success at Halfpenny Green Airport and Baggeridge Country Park. The unique event is now set to land at Himley Hall, Dudley, and Bantock House, Wolverhampton in June and July of this year. Both events are set to run from 3pm entry and a 8pm close.

All ages are welcome to attend the event. The Over 65s will be treated to a live DJ, Artists and Bands to get them up dancing and singing, or simply relaxing in their camping chairs with toes a tapping. For a bit of additional fun, Dangerous Sheep Events will be delivering a free few games of Prize BINGO! With their authentic 1970s Bingo calling machine.

There will be some Street Food style food vendors and Licenced Bar just like a typical more ‘youthful’ Festival.
"We’re really excited to be bringing V.I.P Fest back to the great British outdoors, and to our travelling fans, who have been asking when we were doing another Our older guests particularly love getting together in a safe outdoor environment. We’re desperately trying to reach out to many lonely people in our local communities, as this event is excellent for mental health, and fitness," said Kevin Taylor, Director.
"One of our guests stopped us when they were leaving the event and said I’ve come as a Pensioners but going home as a teenager, which was simply the cream on the cake for us," said Michelle Taylor, Events Manager.
Reduced cost ‘Early Bird Entry’ tickets are now on sale.
