This generous investment will provide new uniforms for various year groups, ensuring that all learners have access to high-quality attire that promotes a sense of pride and unity within the school community. Specifically, the funding will be used to supply:
- A new cardigan or jumper for all Reception children, helping the youngest learners start their educational journey with confidence.
- A new blazer and tie for all Year 7 learners, marking their transition to secondary school and fostering a smart, professional appearance.
- A free tie for all Year 11 learners, recognising their senior status and encouraging them to take pride in their final year of school.
- A free tie for Student Leaders, acknowledging their leadership roles and contributions to the school community.
CEO of Dudley Academies Trust, Jo Higgins, reinforced her support for the initiative, stating, "We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all our learners. By investing in uniforms, we aim to lessen the financial burden on families and ensure that every learner feels a sense of belonging and pride."

The Trust believes that this investment will not only alleviate some of the financial pressures faced by families but also contribute to a positive school culture where learners can focus on their learning and personal development.

Dudley Academies Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust comprising four secondary schools and two primary schools. The secondary schools include Beacon Hill Academy, Pegasus Academy, The Link Academy, and St James Academy. The primary schools are Blowers Green Primary and Kates Hill Primary.
