Ormiston’s Got Talent is a prestigious competition showcasing the artistic talents of students from Ormiston Academies Trust schools across the country.

The regional semi-final, hosted at Ormiston SWB Academy in Bilston, saw two talented Year 9 students from the school, Darius and Anna, perform their own original compositions in front of an excited audience. Anna impressed viewers with a heartfelt and optimistic song about her dreams and aspirations while Darius captivated the crowd with his lively song, By The Lake, which had the audience clapping along. Both students delivered outstanding performances with Darius securing a well-deserved place in the national finals, set to be held later this year at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre.

There remains a possibility for Anna to join the final lineup through a wildcard selection, which will be determined once scores from schools across the UK are compiled.

Darius will now compete against talented students from Ormiston academies nationwide at the final.
