Britpop legend to DJ intimate Birmingham club

The Night Owl, Digbeth, is thrilled to host the Official Ocean Colour Scene Aftershow, featuring an exclusive DJ set from the legendary Steve Cradock! A true Birmingham icon, Cradock is best known as the guitarist for Ocean Colour Scene, the band that helped define the Britpop era with their massive hits and platinum-selling albums.

With anthems like The Riverboat SongThe Day We Caught the Train, and Hundred Mile High City, Ocean Colour Scene became one of the most celebrated British bands of the 90s, earning a devoted fanbase and critical acclaim.

Following Ocean Colour Scene’s highly anticipated gig, Cradock – who has also worked with Paul Weller and The Specials– will take to the decks, for an intimate club set, to spin an electrifying mix of soul, mod, ska, indie, Britpop, and more.

Joining Cradock on the night will be support from:

Doors open at 9.30pm, and the party continues late into the night. Expect an unforgettable atmosphere filled with top tunes, great vibes, and a celebration of the sounds that defined generations.
