Joining the Board of Governors gives people the opportunity to influence the college’s strategic direction and ensure it continues to provide exceptional education and support to students.

As it continuously strives to improve and enhance its offerings, the college is particularly interested in candidates who have leadership experience, an understanding of safeguarding or pastoral support, expertise and qualifications in finance, audit and/or regulatory compliance and have a strong commitment to making a positive impact on our college's future. The college remains committed to the needs and aspirations of the communities it serves and welcomes applications from a diverse range of ages, backgrounds and life experiences.

Jo Chilton, Chair of the Corporation said: "Halesowen Corporation is the governing body for Halesowen College, we are committed to improving outcomes for all learners and supporting local communities. Our ambition is to be exceptional. We are seeking to recruit Governors who can use their skills and experience to help us achieve this ambition. If you want to make a difference, then please apply."

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of education in the local community, while also gaining invaluable skills, knowledge and experience that will enhance your personal career development.  Whilst it is an unpaid role within the college, related expenses are paid.
