The new cabinet and kit, secured by Councillor Keiran Casey, was donated by The Daniel Baird Foundation and has been installed on the front of one of the buildings facing out onto the complex in a bid to further improve safety.
The public cabinet with bleed kit inside will be immediately accessible in the event that someone on the complex has an accident, with these kits being used to seal wounds and stop bleeding in the vital minutes whilst emergency services are on the way, and which have been proven to save lives.
Lynne Baird, founder of the Daniel Baird Foundation, said: "We’re delighted to have been able to donate this cabinet and kit to be used in Dudley, and it’s great to see this has now been installed on a popular entertainment complex.
