Recognising that Black and other ethnic communities may face unique challenges—including stigma, barriers to culturally appropriate support, and socioeconomic factors—the workshop will also explore tailored approaches to prevention, early intervention, and access to support services.
This is one of six free health and wellbeing workshops that The William Wilson Turner Foundation is delivering in Oldbury, Smethwick and West Bromwich under the banner HealthWise – Prevent and Prosper.
Funded by Sandwell MBC and the NHS Black Country Integrated Care Team through Adult Social Care Discharges Fund, the workshops aim to empower participants to improve their health and reduce the likelihood of hospital admissions.
