Bottled water giant brings new storage facility on stream
A leading supplier of bottled water has brought a new storage facility on stream after expanding its operations in Staffordshire, commercial property consultancy Burley Browne announced today.
Roxane UK – which supplies bottled water under the brand name Aqua Pura - has agreed a 10-year lease on a 31,686 sq ft modern detached warehouse at Europa Way Industrial Estate in Lichfield.
The company, which has a large bottling depot at Fradley near Lichfield and is one of the leading distributors of bottled water in Europe, was in need of further storage facilities and the Europa Way warehouse suited its requirements perfectly, said Burley Browne senior associate director Ben Nicholson.
“It is exciting to see such a successful company expanding its operations in the Lichfield area and we were delighted to secure this deal on behalf of our client. The unit changed hands last year in a £2.7 million off-market deal, completed by the team here at Burley Browne.
“It was acquired by a private investor who retained us as letting agents and we have been able to agree an improved rent on the property from the level that the previous tenant was paying.”
He added: “This has been an excellent team effort, securing an outstanding tenant and a very successful reletting on behalf of our client and we are sure that Roxane UK will continue to thrive as it expands its operations in the Lichfield area.”
Located immediately adjacent to the A38 dual carriageway, the Europa Way property has excellent road links and forms part of an established industrial estate which has nearby occupiers including Howden Joinery, Screwfix and Halfords.
