A sweet collaboration is creating a buzz as two media experts join forces to champion beekeepers’ cause
Award-winning PR expert Justine Halifax and successful social media content creator Natasja Bailey have announced a collaboration that sees them giving back to their home county through a new environmental project.

In what the media experts describe as being a “proud” CSR move, the pair will take on the outward-facing PR and social media content for South Staffordshire and District Beekeepers Association.
Both Justine, CEO of Angel Media, and Natasja, CEO of The Write Hive, were introduced to the association when they enrolled on its annual beginners' beekeeping course held at Shugborough Hall, Milford, Stafford, last summer.
Now beekeepers themselves, the dynamic duo has been recruited by Wendy Woodward, the association’s chairperson, to deploy their media expertise to amplify the association’s message and promote its vital work.

Dynamic duo buzzing with new environmental purpose

Justine, of Lichfield, said: “At a time when these crucial pollinators are facing an ever-increasing threat to their survival, including from pesticides and the Asian hornet invader, the association plays a vital role in the bees’ survival through its promotion of biodiversity and sustainable practices in our region.
“I’m therefore thrilled to come on board, alongside Natasja, who is renowned for her unique creative approach, to share its story with a broader audience.”
Natasja, of Burntwood, said: “Social media has the power to inspire change, and I believe that by highlighting the important work of our local beekeepers and raising awareness on how anyone can help to support the bees, we can foster a deeper sense of community and environmental stewardship.
“Like Justine, I’m excited at the prospect of working together to create online content that resonates and encourages a heightened level of engagement with the ultimate goal of enabling our bees to flourish.”
Move set to enhance community engagement
Wendy, of Stafford, said: “We are delighted to welcome Justine and Natasja on board. Their expertise in communication will undoubtedly help us connect with the community in meaningful ways and to ensure the importance of beekeeping is further recognised and more broadly supported.”
Mum-of-two Justine added: “The potential threat of the Asian Hornet invading our county will make this move by the association to enhance their outward-facing communications even more crucial.”
Justine and Natasja’s voluntary collaboration is a testament to the power of cross-sector partnerships in driving positive social and environmental change.
