MAC Groundwork Contractors announces two career opportunities in Stafford and more to follow
MAC Groundwork Contractors Ltd is pleased to announce two career opportunities at our head office in Stafford. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the positions of Estimator and Contracts Manager. More positions will be available soon as they continue to scale up projects across the UK.
As a service provider of groundworks, surfacing, sustainable drainage systems and outdoor sports facility installations, the MAC Groundwork Contractors team is looking to expand further in 2025.
Their head office team hired two new candidates at the end of 2024 and are now hiring a further two to support the success of ongoing and future projects. The new roles offer the chance to work within a professional environment dedicated to delivering high-quality services across the UK.
Director Mark Crutchley announces these new roles stating: "Our business has grown significantly over the past 20 years, and we are eager to build on this success by expanding our team at our Head Office in Stafford. These new hires will help us undertake even more ambitious projects as we continue to grow through 2025 and beyond."
Estimator
The Estimator will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, analysing project plans and specifications, and working with the project team to develop competitive bids.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates.
- Reviewing project plans and identifying scope and requirements.
- Collaborating with suppliers and subcontractors to gather quotes.
Qualifications:
- Experience in estimating within the construction or groundwork industry.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Contracts Manager
The Contracts Manager will oversee the execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Managing contracts from initiation through to completion.
- Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in contract management within the construction sector.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
