With a footprint that stretches through the Marches — Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, Herefordshire, Stoke, Staffordshire, and Birmingham — Landau stands tall among its achievements. The charity has received distinguished recognitions, including the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, the Gold Armed Forces Covenant, and the IPS Grow Good Kite Mark. These accolades reflect Landau’s steadfast commitment to excellence and innovation in uplifting the most vulnerable members of society.

This anniversary also heralds a significant leadership transition. Sonia Roberts, who has guided Landau for 20 years, is stepping down, concluding an era marked by remarkable growth and impact. Under her stewardship, Landau expanded its services, strengthened community ties, and earned its reputation as somewhere to turn for those facing adversity.

Taking up the mantle as Chief Executive Officer is Phil Taylor, who has worked alongside Sonia for the past 11 years. With a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of Landau’s mission, Phil is ready to lead the charity into a promising new chapter.

"I am honoured to lead Landau into its next era," shared Phil Taylor. "As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we are not just reflecting on our past achievements; we’re also eagerly looking ahead. We intend to collaborate further with fellow charities, local authorities, and NHS trusts to create even greater opportunities and life-changing impacts for those who need us most." The Trustees are wholeheartedly committed to supporting Phil and the remarkable team dedicated to transformative work within their communities.

As Landau moves forward, its core values of inclusivity, innovation, and collaboration will continue to drive its mission. The charity remains resolute in breaking down employment barriers and empowering individuals to fulfil their potential.
