Dancers celebrate Galentine's Day: 'Encouraging, empowering and educating women'

Over 40 dancers got together on Sunday, 9 February to celebrate Valentine's Day their way as 'Galentine's Day'. The girls all from Watton Dance attended a two hour heels workshop at Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centre.

Watton Dance has been holding workshops and weekly dance classes for over 16s for the past four years in the Cheslyn Hay and Penkridge areas.

Emily Watton, aged 25, founder of Watton Dance said about Sunday's workshop: "It was so evident just how much love there is in dance friendships" she went on to say: "Watton Dance is about encouraging, empowering and educating women to be the best they can be both inside and outside of the dance studio - it was so good to see so many girls celebrating all this on a Sunday morning!"
