Lambs & Ewe officially launches on Saturday, 15 February, running every day of half term then through to the Easter break – and is included with standard entry to this action-packed family day out. Alongside the chance to see inside the lambing barn and get up close to spring’s cutest new arrivals, visitors will watch a fun yet educational film all about sheep; test their sheep-y knowledge with a quiz trail and join the challenge to help farmer Ray and Shep find his lost flock. This is in addition to exploring the farm’s massive indoor playbarn, acres of outdoor play and enjoying animal talks and interactions in the large and small animal zones; providing a great family day out, whatever the weather.

Farmer Richard Bower, who runs the award-winning family attraction, says: “Lambs & Ewe is one of our favourite events here on the farm – it’s great to see new life on the farm and we love helping visitors learn all about sheep and how we care for them. It’s lovely seeing the kids’ (and adult) faces light up when they see the lambs – they are very entertaining and, while we can’t promise a live birth will happen in front of visitors every day, there’s always a chance you’ll see the miracle firsthand.

“It’s not just lambs that visitors will see – our cows have been calving so there are lots of new calves in the large animal zone and we will have some chicks that visitors can meet too. We’ll also be giving a preview glimpse of progress on some exciting projects as we prepare to launch new areas in time for Easter. We love taking our customers on the whole journey with us and couldn’t do it without their support.”
