Goodheart Farm Animal Sanctuary is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for schools - free educational trips, made possible through special funding.

Nestled on the scenic border between Worcestershire and Shropshire, Goodheart Animal Sanctuary provides a unique setting where pupils can engage with curriculum-based topics such as digestive systems, life cycles, and animal dentition. These interactive, hands-on experiences bring learning to life while fostering a deeper appreciation for animals and their wellbeing.

Whether you’re based in the West Midlands or beyond, schools of all ages and key stage groups are invited to book - entirely free of charge.

What’s included in the free school trip:

  • Up to £100 towards transport costs to the sanctuary.
  • A guided tour of the sanctuary, featuring engaging educational activities and the chance to meet our rescued animals.
  • An interactive workshop where pupils will create enrichment items for the animals.

About Goodheart Farm Animal Sanctuary

Founded in 2017, Goodheart Animal Sanctuary is home to over 300 rescued animals, including pigs, goats, chickens, alpacas, and more. The sanctuary’s diverse landscape of fields and woodland has been enriched with habitat development projects such as the Pig Barn & Woodland, the Goodheart Home for Rescued Hens, and a dedicated Outdoor Education Area.
