Dudley Academies Trust launches new Train to Teach Programme
Dudley Academies Trust is thrilled to announce the launch of its new School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) Programme, set to commence in September 2025. This innovative programme offers a unique pathway for aspiring teachers, providing them with the opportunity to train within the Trust's supportive and ambitious environment.
Individuals with an honours degree secured before September 2025 will be eligible to train to teach with Dudley Academies Trust and receive a government bursary of up to £31,000, depending on their chosen subject. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), enabling them to teach in primary and secondary schools across the UK.
