A place to call home: Bromford hosts informational event on Shared Ownership in Wolverhampton next weekend
New homes provider Bromford is hosting a Shared Ownership event for homeseekers in Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas at the city’s Science Park on Glaisher Drive, on Saturday, 8 February.
With limited spots available, those looking for a new home will learn all about Shared Ownership, with members of the Bromford sales team and external experts on hand to offer exclusive advice and guidance around the scheme and fulfil any queries prospective homebuyers may have.
As well as insight from Bromford’s Existing Homes team, the event will provide home seekers with advice from solicitors and financial advisors, with panels being set up to talk to those interested in buying a home about how to do so, the concept of Bromford Shared Ownership, and how to staircase thereafter to owning 100% of their home.
Shared Ownership gives those who do not currently own a home the chance to secure a new build home with Bromford. Homebuyers pay a mortgage on the share they own and pay rent on the remaining share, meaning only a smaller deposit is required.
Bromford has a range of brand-new two and three-bedroom homes across multiple developments across the West Midlands, which are available through Shared Ownership, with share values ranging between 25 and 75 per cent (T&Cs apply).
Around Wolverhampton, there are Bromford developments where Shared Ownership homes are available, including Partridge Walk in Stafford and Saints View in Telford, with prices starting from £68,750 for a 25 per cent share value.
Catherine Jarrett, Director of Sales and Marketing at Bromford, said: “We understand there are many common misconceptions around Shared Ownership and that it could be a prospect those who have not taken advantage of the scheme aren’t fully aware of.
“We’re here to answer all of your questions and give you everything you need to make an informed decision about what is an important step.”
“Now more than ever, it’s important for first time buyers to understand the complexities of the housing market, and by sharing advice from industry experts we hope we can give local home seekers some clarity around Shared Ownership.
