TaperedPlus doubles sales team and launches regional structure to accelerate national growth

TaperedPlus, a national leader in the design and supply of flat roofing and insulation systems, has doubled the size of its sales team by recruiting four experienced Business Development Managers across the UK.

The expansion is part of a new regional sales framework, which assigns each BDM to a specific area, fostering stronger client relationships and driving new business opportunities.

It follows a £5.5 million investment from BGF, secured last June, which supports TaperedPlus’s ambitious growth plans and commitment to enhanced customer service.

Co-founded in 2014 by Aman Chahal and Robert Vass, the independent company's technical design studio is based in Wolverhampton.

The four new BDMs are:

  • Gary Bottomley, BDM for the North – formerly with Ubbink UK, brings over a decade of sales and contract management experience in roofing and ventilation
  • Dean Millward, BDM for the South East – previously Technical Sales Manager with BMI Group, has a wealth of sales experience in the roofing systems sector
  • Stuart Millard, BDM for the South West – joins from Forterra, Tarmac, and BMI Group, where he excelled as an Area Sales Manager
  • Eddie Bushe, BDM for South Central – also from BMI Group, where he was an Area Sales Manager for seven years

To further support its growth, TaperedPlus has also added two Internal Sales Representatives: Chloe Herring, formerly Project Administrator at Redpath Deilmann, and Gemma Chesney, who was promoted from within as a Sales Coordinator.

Co-founded in 2014 by Aman Chahal and Rob Vass, the independent company is headquartered in Stockton-on-Tees with a technical design studio in Wolverhampton.
