The first event taking place at Weston Park will give guests the opportunity to celebrate the classic Scottish tradition of Burns Night on Saturday, 25 January.

Those attending will enjoy a luxury stay in the striking stately home, music from a traditional Scottish bagpiper, drinks reception and a five-course Burns Supper in the dining room.

Guests will also be able to enjoy walks around the estate’s 1,000 acres of Capability Brown parkland on arrival, drinks in the library, a late-night tipple in the cellar bar and a home cooked breakfast before heading home.

Andrea Webster, head of marketing at Weston Park, said: “We wanted to kickstart the new year in style and our Burns Night Dine and Stay experience is brand new for 2025.

“The entire evening will celebrate the life and work of Scottish poet Robert Burns and our Burns Supper will be something to remember with a five-course tasting menu that celebrates and combines the very best of Scottish cuisine with our own creative Weston twist.

“We’re really excited to add this special night to our calendar of events and it will kickstart our series of dine and stay experiences for 2025.

“In February we will go on to host a very special Valentines Dine and Stay on February 14 and 15 for those who want to indulge and enjoy a romantic getaway in one of the UK’s finest country estates.

“Then, following on from this on March 8, we will see the return of our very popular Taste of Weston Dine and Stay where guests can enjoy a seasonal weekend of delicious food and drink.

“As well as gin-tasting, an exquisite five-course dinner and luxury accommodation, guests staying with us will also be treated to a cookery masterclass from our sous chef. This particular weekend really does provide the ultimate Weston experience and we can't wait to start welcoming food and heritage lovers to this beautiful part of the country.”

Weston’s dine and stay packages, which were re-launched in 2024, have proved a huge hit with guests. The House at Weston is normally only available on a private hire basis however, the dine and stay events give individuals the opportunity to enjoy the experience of staying overnight in the stately home.

Last year, the venue which welcomed thousands of visitors across the year, received a 5 star Quality in Tourism Accreditation and enjoyed a host of other awards including a gold award for its self-catering accommodation in the Enjoy Staffordshire Tourism and Good Food Awards.
