Building on this success OGL Software has an ambitious plan for continued growth over the next 5 years and to ensure the successful delivery of that growth, Claire Jones, who has been with the company for over 20 years, has been promoted to the role of Chief Commercial Officer, joining the Executive Team alongside Debbie Barton (CEO), Sharon Moreno (COO) and Gary Haynes (CFO).

Continued growth has been achieved through significant developments to their newest ERP solution, Profit4 (launched in 2021) which has solidified their position as a market leader in the UK stockist, distributor and wholesaler market. In 2024 several new features and enhancements were introduced including assemblies & kitting, automated credit control as well as a digital signature pad for trade counters. This has been supported with a drive to improve internal efficiencies and operational excellence including OGL’s award winning AI-based on-demand onboarding process which enables customers to go live on Profit4 50% faster.

2024 also saw OGL’s 200th Profit4 customer, G & R Electrical, based in Plymouth, go live with more than 70 other businesses currently going through onboarding and training, of which 24 will go live in the first quarter of 2025. As well as new customers coming onboard, we have also seen almost 50 customers transition to Profit4 from our customer base of over 400 prof.ITplus customers all looking to future-proof their business with the latest technology.

Debbie Barton, CEO, commented: “I am immensely proud of what we have achieved over the past year. We have a hugely talented workforce who are dedicated to delivering, not only first-class products, but also a first-class service to our customers. And looking ahead to our plans over the next 5 years, I am excited to see how Profit4 continues to evolve and the impact that it has on our customers in helping them to grow and achieve their goals.”

Claire commented: “I am excited about the opportunity to develop our commercial strategy in the coming years to help us achieve our ambitious goals. I am confident that we have both the best product and the best teams in place to make this happen. I believe that building strong partnerships is crucial to our success, and I will focus on nurturing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that Profit4 remains a relevant market leader in our core sectors.

Additionally, we are launching our new Warehouse Management System this month, which is a valuable addition to the Profit4 portfolio. I am certain it will offer significant benefits to our current and prospective customers. Looking ahead, we will also introduce new features later in the year, including AI-powered machine learning capabilities to further enhance automation and streamline workflows.”

Taking up the mantle from Claire, OGL Software welcomes back Lyndon Bendall who joins the Senior Leadership Team as Head of New Business Development. Lyndon previously worked for OGL as Head of Account Management in their technical division that was sold to Wavenet back in 2022. Having spent the past couple of years at Wavenet, he now returns to OGL bringing a wealth of experience to support Claire and the Leadership Team to achieve growth in the sales of Profit4 to new customers.

Lyndon commented: “Having worked at OGL Software previously I am thrilled to be returning at such an exciting time for the company. I have watched how Profit4 has developed and it’s a fantastic product and I have no doubt that it will continue to revolutionise businesses. There is a great team ethic at OGL Software which is felt as soon as you walk into the business and that is also extended to the relationships that we have with customers which is so important when working with small and medium sized businesses. I’m looking forward to getting out on the road with our Sales Consultants to meet existing and prospective customers.”
