Kidderminster students raise cash for hospice
Students at a Kidderminster school celebrated the end of term with a major fundraising bid for KEMP Hospice, smashing their £500 target.
Baxter College’s festive-fun events, including a Rudolph Run for all year groups, have already raised £540 with cash still to count and more donations due.
They also held a Christmas concert, form quiz and a seasonal mindfulness activity as part of their hospice fundraising challenge.
Teacher and head of the house system Amie Kidd said: “It was a really busy last day of term, but a lot of fun and students and staff are delighted to have raised so much money for this charity.
“KEMP Hospice is very close to our hearts as it provides support to many of our families and the wider community and, of course, relies heavily on donations to maintain its much-needed services.
“We’d like to thank everyone who contributed to this great fundraising effort, a wonderful example of the values of community and support which we hold dear at Baxter College.”
