Good Shepherd has been supporting some of the most vulnerable and marginalised people in Wolverhampton since 1972. Now based on Waterloo Road, the charity provides a range of services, including homeless outreach support; key work support on topics such as housing and tenancy sustainment, health and wellbeing and finances; and positive group activities such as sports, mental health and cooking.

In addition, Good Shepherd offers a range of practical solutions including showers, laundry, clothing and a range of food services. Hot meals are served three times each week with an average of 150 per day. Families in need can also attend the Family Pantry where they can access food to take home to prepare.

Jo and Sue enjoyed their visit, especially seeing how the food was prepared in the kitchen area. Some of our members would like to arrange to visit in the new year and help with the preparation of the hot meals.
