With the countdown to Christmas now on, Tom Shepherd, owner of Upstairs by Tom Shepherd, made an appearance at Redrow’s Curborough Lakes development, on Watery Lane, and worked his magic in the show home’s kitchen, before switching on the Christmas lights.

Tom opened his restaurant on Bore Street in 2021 and was awarded a Michelin Star within four months, representing the first Michelin Star in Staffordshire. In 2023, Tom represented the Central Region on the BBC’s Great British Menu. He went on to win the main course round and cooked at the banquet, where he served his infamous take on Desperate Dan’s Cow Pie.
