All 34 of the Hednesford-based dance academy's entries placed in the top three, securing a spot in the UK Nationals at Viva Blackpool and earning the chance to represent Team England for the third consecutive year. This remarkable feat highlights the academy’s exceptional talent, dedication, and passion for dance.

Dance Inspirations, led by the visionary Victoria Gill, is the nation’s biggest touring dance competition, renowned for its high-calibre performances and electrifying atmosphere. With regional heats held across the UK, competitors vie for a coveted top three finish to advance to the Nationals, where schools from across England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales compete for ultimate glory. Crystal Academy’s success in achieving qualification for all 34 entries is a testament to their outstanding skill and teamwork.

Notably, this marks a significant milestone for Crystal Academy as they competed across three age groups - Mini, Junior, and Teen - for the first time, demonstrating their depth of talent across all levels. Among their many highlights, one standout routine - previously a Bronze medalist at the World Finals earlier this year—received both a Stand-Out Award and an Entertainment Award, making them the youngest recipients to claim these two prestigious honours alongside a 1st place finish.

Victoria Gill, creator of Dance Inspirations and a renowned dance educator and choreographer, praised the level of artistry and dedication displayed by competitors: "The talent showcased this year has been truly inspiring. Crystal Academy’s performances exemplify the passion and precision we aim to foster in the next generation of dancers."

Crystal Academy’s husband and wife director-duo, Jason & Kirsty Kolmer, expressed pride in their team’s achievements: "To qualify for Team England for the third year running and with 100 per cent success across all entries is beyond incredible. These young dancers have worked so hard, and to see them shine on stage and receive such prestigious accolades is a moment we’ll always cherish. We can’t wait to take on the Nationals and represent Cannock on the biggest stage."

The road to the Nationals now begins, with Crystal Academy’s dancers preparing to showcase their artistry, athleticism, and dedication at the Viva Blackpool UK Nationals, representing Cannock and England with pride.
