Last chance to join thrilling Sky High Adventure before it’s gone forever
Grab your Santa suit and ho-ho-hold on tight as Acorns Children’s Hospice takes to the skies on a thrilling zip-line challenge and the tallest high ropes in Europe.
Santa’s Sky High Adventure is inviting festive families and thrillseekers to jingle all the way around 36 high-rope obstacles at NEC Birmingham to raise vital funds for seriously ill children.
The epic experience takes place on Saturday, 7 December at The Bear Grylls Adventure and includes 60 minutes on the high ropes and 30 minutes flying down the zip-line. It’ll be the perfect chance to visit this exciting and unique attraction before it closes for good.
Libby Bennett, Events Officer at Acorns Children’s Hospice, said: “Take fundraising to new festive heights with this exhilarating adventure of a lifetime as you dress up as Santa and take on our sky high challenge.
“Not only will this give you a flying start to the festive season, you’ll be helping us elevate fundraising to another level for the vital care of children with life limiting or life threatening conditions and support for their families.”
Early bird tickets cost £20 for adults and £15 for children, who must be aged over eight to take part. Included is a Santa suit, a time-slot allocated by Acorns, a fundraising pack, a certificate and a medal. Registrations close on 20 November, but places are limited and could sell out before this date.
Libby added: “Standing a huge 65ft tall this is the highest rope adventure course in Europe and rewards those brave enough to reach the top with stunning views and ever-lasting memories.

Acorns Children’s Hospice provides specialist palliative care for babies, children and young people with life limiting and life threatening conditions, and support for their families.
In the past year, the charity has cared for more than 780 children across the West Midlands, and supported over 1,000 families, including those who are bereaved.
This care and support is provided from Acorns three hospices, based in Birmingham, Walsall and Worcester, and in the community.
Acorns needs around £35,000 each day to provide its children’s hospice care, with two thirds of that amount coming from generous donations and fundraising by the local community.
