The sold-out session invited participants to pause the busyness of their lives and experience the benefits of “mini holidays” for the mind and body. Through a soothing guided meditation, Emma helped attendees reset their minds, rejuvenate their spirits, and discover the profound impact of true rest on their overall wellbeing.

The Need for Rest in a Busy World

In today’s fast-paced society, many people remain stuck in constant activity – even when they think they’re relaxing. Emma explained how essential it is to step away from the “doing” and embrace real mental and emotional downtime.

“I was really excited about bringing this event to Hednesford and sharing the benefits of taking mini mind moments for better health and happiness,” Emma said. “We get so caught up in being busy, that even when we’re relaxing, we’re often still ‘doing’ an activity. Seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces at the end of the session and how content they all looked was a joy to experience.”

Emma also shared her personal journey with mini mind moments: “Taking regular mini mind moments has been a game-changer for me. As someone juggling the demands of being a parent, a carer, and running a business, I know how easy it is to put yourself last. But I’ve found that even a few minutes of true rest can make a huge difference – boosting my focus, reducing stress, and giving me the energy I need to show up fully in all areas of my life.”

The event, hosted in collaboration with Press Books and Coffee owner Nancy Fardon, was a resounding success.

“The event sold out really quickly,” Nancy said: “It’s clear this is something people want to know more about and do for themselves.”

Attendees left glowing reviews, with one participant saying: “I thought I was relaxed, but after experiencing that hypnotherapy session, I feel really, really relaxed and can already feel the benefit.”

Another participant remarked on Emma’s skills, saying: “You’ve got such a lovely soothing voice; I could have listened all night. Where can I get a copy of your audios?”

A Mission for Health and Happiness

Emma’s mission to promote better health, more wealth, and a deeper sense of happiness through her hypnotherapy practice shone throughout the evening. She continues to encourage people to prioritise real rest as a way to heal both mind and body.
