WI craft a cascade of poppies for Remembrance at Trysull
Members of Trysull & Seisdon WI decorated the war memorial at Trysull church with a display of poppies they had knitted.

Several members got together the Monday before Remembrance Sunday to decorate the war memorial with a cascade of poppies.
A few years ago it was decided that we would like to create a display for the church. Throughout that year members knitted hundreds of poppies which were then fixed to netting, thus enabling us to drape them round the war memorial at All Saints Church, Trysull.
