Stafford Barclays and Malvern café bar among £7.5m retail and hospitality portfolio for sale with Eddisons
Stafford town centre’s branch of Barclays Bank and the Lounge hospitality venue on Belle Vue Terrace in Malvern are among a prime portfolio of nine, mostly retail and leisure, properties across the UK with a collective guide price of £7.5m, on the market with Eddisons.
The 6,000 sq ft ground floor of the ornate, three-storey Malvern property is let to hospitality group Loungers on an annual rent of £65,000. In Stafford the Barclays Bank on the Market Square is a landmark historic building with an imposing façade and 6,000 sq across three storeys.
The ‘Fenwall’ portfolio generates a total annual rental income of £550,000 and also features a large, currently vacant, Grade II-listed Regency building on Cheltenham’s famous Promenade, as well as a range of other properties across the UK.
Stephen Hawkins, Eddisons’ regional managing partner, said: “These are diverse and high-performing assets that we have been instructed to sell as a whole or individually. A strong tenant profile includes Costa, Vodafone, Barclays Bank, Loungers UK, restaurant chain Cote and health testing company Randox.
“The vacant Cheltenham property has scope to increase annual rental income to £610,000 once it is let, and we are expecting high levels of interest from a range of investors for this portfolio.”
The nine properties that make up the portfolio are in Bolton and Hoylake, Stafford, Malvern and Cheltenham, Newbury, Chichester and Lewes in the South East, and Downham Market in Norfolk.
