Ghouls just want to have fun: Stafford care home celebrates Halloween
There was ‘fang-tastic’ food, creepy costumes and spooktactualy scenes of fun across a group of Midlands care homes this week as residents celebrated Halloween.
Macc Care residents in Stafford and across Birmingham joined in a series of spooky celebrations, creating memorable and engaging experiences for residents and staff alike.
Homes across the group, including Priestly Rose in Erdington, Dora Rose in Stafford, and Blossomfield Rose in Solihull, embraced the holiday spirit with creative decorations, costumes, and activities designed to entertain and engage everyone.
Over at Dora Rose in Stafford, Halloween celebrations took a festive turn with residents donning hats, enjoying delicious treats, and capturing the spirit of the holiday with fun photographs.
The staff also joined in with impressive costumes, adding to the excitement. Residents were thrilled by the atmosphere, which provided both entertainment and an opportunity to interact with others in a playful, seasonal setting.
At Priestly Rose in Erdington, residents spent a joyful afternoon carving pumpkins, an activity that sparked creativity and social interaction.
The home was filled with laughter as residents designed their pumpkins, followed by a lively Halloween party where both residents and staff enjoyed themed refreshments, decorations, and music.
Blossomfield Rose in Solihull hosted a Halloween tea party, where residents enjoyed pumpkin carving and festive treats.
The carving activities, carefully chosen to promote dexterity and engagement, proved especially popular, with residents delighted to display their creations.
