Rotary club provide donation to help keep musical theatre alive
Members from Cannock Rotary visited the rehearsal of Seasons Theatre Company's Christmas pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, to make a donation of £500 towards the operational costs of this fully inclusive adult amateur dramatics group.
Seasons Theatre Company operates as a non-profit, relying on the generosity of our community. Grants, donations, and proceeds from there shows and fundraising efforts all play a vital role in supporting Seasons. These contributions and donations enable them to continue working with exceptionally talented individuals and nurturing a wonderful, close-knit family within the group. They perform at local theatres, host two annual shows, and offer a supportive and dedicated community for drama enthusiasts.
Cannock Rotary have been supporting the theatre group for some time not only with cash donations but by providing them with opportunities to perform at Rotary organised events, earlier this year Seasons Theatre Group provided entertainment at the extremely successful ‘Sleep out to Kit out’ fundraising event at Cannock College and next year the members have agreed to perform a concert of Show Songs at the Gala dinner of Cannock Rotary Club tripartite event in May which is being held at St George's Park, the home of English Football.
