Mad O'Rourkes Pie Factory's American dish comes up Trumps - WATCH
A landmark Black Country pub is mixing politics and pastry with its latest creation inspired by America's new President Donald Trump.
The Donald Trump Pie is proving a hit with the public – unlike its namesake – at Mad O'Rourkes Pie Factory in Tipton.
The £9.99 dish, which is filled with Mexican chilli and surrounded by a wall of nachos and topped with melted cheese, sold out within three days at the pub on Hurst Lane.
Inspired by landlord Pete Towler's six-week visit to America, staff are now making a new batch to keep up with demand. Head chef Dawn Pitts and assistant head chef Alex Taylor came up with the recipe.
Mr Taylor said: "Pete sent us a message while he was in America as he was in the thick of all the Trump rivalry at the time.

"The customers were all surprised with the satirical pie but it's been extremely popular and we sold out in three days.
"Once he messaged us to say he wanted to do a Trump pie we instantly thought of a Mexican chilli pie as we've done it before and with the whole Mexico wall controversy we thought it was quite fitting."
The pub also has plans for a Brexit pie in March when Britain will being the process of leaving the EU.
The recipe is yet to be revealed and the two chefs are keeping tight-lipped.
Mr Taylor, aged 31, said: "If the Trump Pie pie sells quickly again this weekend then we'll do another batch and leave it to Pete to decide whether he wants to keep it on the menu for longer.
"Trump is quite a controversial character but at least he's selling pies for us."
