Wolverhampton's very own Liam Payne, band member of world-renowned pop group One Direction, talks about winning the city's Sons and Daughters award.

He has picked up many awards and accolades with the band throughout his singing career, but said being recognised by his home city was his greatest honour.

He said: "I just wanted to say a massive thank you for this. My band has picked up a lot of awards over the past few years, but for me, this is the one I'm definitely most grateful for. Wolverhampton's my home and it always will be."

4 Last surviving Dornier 17 bomber arrives at RAF Museum Cosford (2013) (40,623 views)

It was designed as a light bomber, to outrun defending fighter aircraft.

And the last remaining Dornier 17 German bomber passed through the doors of RAF Cosford's Museum after it had lay ruined for many years at the bottom of the English Channel. It landed in the sea after being shot down by the RAF in 1940, before pulled out of the water in a rescue operation.

More than 100 people visited the site near Wolverhampton to welcome its arrival.

This was the staggering moment a thief used his car to smash a parking meter free of its foundations in Brierley Hill.

The load appeared a little heavy for the man, who struggled to lift the machine.

And his car didn't hold much better either, as the weight of the meter sagged down the vehicle and sparks flew from the back.

As the the man made off with the machine, he was blissfully unaware he was being watched.

Moments later a police car was on his tail and the thief was apprehended.
