Haven't we seen you somewhere before? Doppelgangers roll into Willenhall
[gallery] What on earth were Kate and Wills, funnyman Keith Lemon and Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney all doing in Willenhall?
That was the question on everyone's lips when a gaggle of famous faces descended on the town.
They were in fact all lookalikes and there to star in a short film being shot by budding film maker Daniel Crooks from Willenhall.
Other celebs turning heads in the town were Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson, Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean and Frank Gallagher from TV show Shameless. And it certainly confused and intrigued the locals who came over to have a closer look and request selfies with the clones.
Red Nose Day The Movie will be 20 minutes long and Mr Crooks will be posting it onto YouTube tomorrow and he is hoping it may make it onto TV.
Mr Crooks, a the casino croupier and the man behind Skoorc Productions, said: "A know a few celebrity lookalikes and got in touch with a few more. I have written and produced this film. I want to raise £1,000 for Comic Relief. I'm hoping it could get on TV. I'll be getting in touch with a number of people to try and make it happen."
Mr Crooks said he will be holding raffles and collecting donations around Willenhall in the run up to Comic Relief.
The short movie features all the celeb lookalikes and filming took place in a number of different Black Country locations including Bantock Gardens in Wolverhampton.
The scenes filmed in Willenhall by the famous clock in the centre featured Kate and Wills lookalikes Heidi Agan and Simon Watkinson. The pair were filmed inside a Rolls Royce, waving to the public as they drove through the town.
Ms Agan is a full-time Kate Middleton lookalike and has been since 2012. She is from Cheslyn Hay. She said: "Before doing all this I was a waitress.
"People used to tell me I looked like Kate. When Daniel contacted me I agreed to be part of this as it's for charity. I'm not sure what the people of Willenhall think about us all arriving in the town."
Stu Arnold, or Keith Lemon, is from Nottingham. He reached the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent impersonating the Terminator. He said: "It's been a laugh filming different scenes. I do a lot of work for charity so I was happy to be involved."
Gary Dixon, owner of Passion Limos based in Willenhall, did a double take when he saw the group. "The lookalikes are really good," he said. "They really do look like who they are supposed to."
