The Staffordshire County Council video includes leading council members' views on the amazing discovery, plus footage from the press conference to announce the find.

The 1,500 items were discovered by Terry Herbert, aged 55, using a metal detector in a farmer's field in Burntwood.

The hoard is the largest Anglo-Saxon collection of gold found in the UK.

It is now on show at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.
