Wolves goalkeeper Matt Murray visited a Wednesfield school to hand over signed footballs to two students after they worked hard at physiotherapy sessions.

The giant shot-stopper went to Coppice Performing Arts School, in Ecclestone Road, to hand the footballs to two learners with Cerebral Palsy.

Students Jake Inscoe, aged 16, and Mike Southan, aged 18, have been working with Wolverhampton City Primary Care Trust's physiotherapy team for most of their lives.

Jake, who lives in Fallings Park, is studying for his GCSEs while Mike is doing a GCSE in drama and a diploma in business.

A member of the physiotherapy team who knows Matt asked him to pay the school a visit, and he duly obliged.

He did a presentation for both students before meeting some of the other pupils at the school and answering questions.

Jane Sellar, superintendent physiotherapist at the PCT, said: "They have both been working very hard and progressing, so one of our team who knew Matt arranged for him to give them signed footballs.

"If anything it serves as a reward for all their efforts."
