Andrew shines light on Palace switches

After 28 years of working at the Crabtree factory in Walsall you would have thought Andrew Noakes would have never wanted to see another electrical switch again.

But the 66-year-old has created a museum at his Aldridge home dedicated to the company that was famous for making light switches, used in thousands of homes around the world.

Andrew started working at Crabtrees in Lincoln Road in 1965 and was a guide in the factory's museum for most of his employment.
