A devastated couple are appealing for the safe return of two dogs which were apparently stolen from a house in Wednesfield.
Bruce, a white English bullmastiff, and Buster, a brown Staffordshire bull terrier, went missing from a house in Deans Road in the early hours of last Thursday.
Sara Garner, aged 26, who lives at the house with her husband Mark, were asleep at the time and believe the dogs were stolen between 1am and 6am in the morning.
Both the dogs are only six months old and the couple say they are distraught over the theft.
Mrs Garner said: "I went down to feed the dogs at about 1am in the morning, then I went to sleep and the next morning they are both gone.
"Buster and Bruce were in the kennels outside and they are surrounded by a seven foot high fence. Someone came in through a fencing panel that was lifted up, and took them."
A fencing panel can be lifted up from the couple's home that leads on to the grounds of Deansfield School. If anyone has seen the dogs, they are asked to call Mrs Garner on 07926 005609.
