Quo drummer's masterclass

Music lessons at a Halesowen school went to a different beat when former Status Quo drummer Jeff Rich gave pupils a masterclass.

Mr Rich, well-known to a generation of music fans for his performances with the long-running rock band, visited youngsters at Windsor High School, in Richmond Road.

Children from all years at the school took part in the special drum sessions with youngsters able to try different instruments and percussion.

As well as showing his own skills to the youngsters he also answered any drumming questions.
