Inspectors delivered a glowing report on Christ Church CofE Primary School in Church Road, Coseley, delighting head Mrs Pat Hazlehurst. Ken Buxton, who led the Ofsted team, said the 544-pupil school was "a credit to its community".
He praised staff's "exceptionally high expectations" of pupils; the "bright, well organised and stimulating" classrooms which provide an "excellent environment" for learning; and the "outstanding quality of teaching and the exceptional focus and drive of the school's leadership".
The excellent provision for and progress made by children with special learning needs also received the thumbs up from inspectors.
Pupils' attainment in English and attendance were the only areas for improvement on an otherwise immaculate report card.
