Black Country golfer Darren Prosser is toasting double Stateside success after clinching back-to-back tournament wins in America.

The 40-year-old professional, who teaches at Halfpenny Green Golf Club near Swindon, won twice in United States pro-am tournaments to secure a £2,700 payday.

Darren, of Stourbridge, was victorious in tournaments organised by British firm The American Golf Holiday, which brings together professionals and amateur players at some of the States' best courses.

Darren is attached to Stourbridge Golf Club.

He claimed joint first place with Scottish professional Chris Doak in a three-day tournament in Scottsdale, Arizona, before claiming outright victory a week later in Las Vegas.
