£1k ring on sale for just £99

A Lichfield jeweller is set to create a buzz among January sales bargain hunters after offering a £1,000 gold diamond ring for just £99.

The 90 per cent discount is being put up by Robert Carr's Jewellers, on Beacon Street, who are hoping the offer will kick-start their January sale which starts on Wednesday.

There is only one of the solitaire diamond rings available and it will be sold on a first come first served basis when the shop opens at 10am.
