Shine in stylish swimwear
The sun is shining and we're heading towards a long hot summer, so get set to sizzle in stylish swim and beachwear.
Whether you want to make the most of the sun on home turf or prefer to jet off for a sunshine break there's a host of swimwear available on the high street to ensure you stand out from the crowded beach.
There's something to suit and fit all, from mix-and-match bikini separates to perfect cover-ups such as a sundress or kaftan.
When it comes to colour this summer, basic black will never go away, but don't overlook cool blues and tropical colours such as bright pinks and reds.
Prints are also popular if you fancy some graphic appeal with stripes and bold florals providing a vibrant look.
And don't forget to accessorise – team up your beachwear with floppy sun hats, oversized sunglasses and summer bags.
Our models Sally Mills and Kate Hopkins dived right into swimwear shopping by trying out some of the hottest beach outfits.
Sally tried out a contrast trim turquoise halterneck bikini from Marks & Spencer's outstanding value range. The top is priced at £6 and the matching bottoms are also £6.
If you don't want to show off your tummy, you may prefer a tankini. Blonde Sally steps out in a red tankini, priced £16, with matching hipsters, £14, both from M&S. While Kate opts for a black halterneck bikini top with braided detail teamed up with a black tassel sarong, priced £5, both from M&S.
Alternatively, you can go for a stripy halterneck mini sundress, such as the one Kate is modelling from Oasis, priced £40.
If you're not brave enough to step out in bikini bottoms, there's also a host of stylish shorts and miniskirts available.
Sally wears a blue linen mini skirt, £30, teamed up with a green, brown and blue striped bikini top, £12, both from Oasis. Kate steps out in khaki shorts, £25, with a khaki print bikini top, £14, both Oasis.
