Bull has backed pal Michael McIndoe to be Wolves' very own Cristiano Ronaldo this season. Fans caught their first glimpse of the winger when he came on as a late substitute last night.McIndoe had the fans on their feet with one jinking run after 77 minutes when he flew past Tom Soares and sent a shot inches wide. His overall contribution may be enough to persuade Mick McCarthy to hand him a starting role for Saturday's trip to rock bottom Southend United.

Speaking at a signing session for his new DVD 'Now and Then', Bully backed McIndoe to become a fans' favourite.

"I was with him at Hereford when I was there doing my coaching," he said. "I saw him at Molineux the other day and he was delighted to have signed for Wolves.

"He's a good skilful lad, he's quick and he reminds me a bit of Cristiano Ronaldo in the way he moves. If he can get anywhere close to that standard, Wolves will have a very good player."

McIndoe was offered a chance to rebuild his career by then Hereford manager Graham Turner, and Wolves legend Bully took him under his wing. "He was rebuilding his career at Hereford. Everyone has their problems and he had a few with drink and gambling but I spoke to him the other day and that has gone," said Bully.
