Molineux search is on for most loyal Wolves fan

Calling all loyal Wolves fans – are you a dedicated follower of Molineux fortunes and have stuck with the club through thick and thin?

Maybe you travel a long way to get to games, have an extraordinary record of long service, or have continued to attend matches despite health issues?

In whatever special way you support Wolves, we want to know.

We are looking for your nominations for the Fan of the Year competition. Supporters can also nominate themselves and the winner will be our guest at Wolves' end-of-season awards dinner.

The previous winners of this award are John Reynolds, Shaun Porter and Harry Cartwright.

John, who organises travel for Ledbury Wolves in Herefordshire, and has been a regular for 50 years, won the inaugural award in 2009.

Shaun, from Wombourne, is the gold and black half of a Black Country-divided set of twins with brother Richard, an avid Albion fan.

Current holder Harry Cartwright, a schoolboy from Penn, ran a successful and highly public campaign to have a train named after his beloved club.

Nominees and their guest must be free to attend Wolves' end of season black-tie dinner on Wednesday, May 9 at Telford International Centre, in Shropshire.

As VIP guests, the winner and his or her chosen friend/partner/spouse will enjoy a fabulous meal and entertainment, as well as a chance to meet the stars. Closing date for entries is Monday, March 26, 2012.

Entries sent in through agents or third parties will be ineligible. The prize winner and guest are responsible for their own travel arrangements. There is no cash alternative to the prize and it is non-transferable. The name and photograph of the winner may be used for publicity purposes. The Editor's decision is final.
