Football rumours from the media
Riyad Mahrez could be set to leave Leicester.
What the papers say
Leicester are bracing themselves to lose Riyad Mahrez in the summer, according to the Guardian.
Mahrez, a key player in the Foxes’ Premier League title win last season, will search for Champions League football and now sees his future away from the King Power Stadium.
The Sun are reporting that the 43-year-old, who is looking for his first chance in management after leaving Manchester United in the summer, is on Boro’s shortlist.
A number of newspapers are reporting that Diego Costa’s potential move to China is now imminent.
Tianjin Quanjian is his apparent destination, with the Daily Express reporting a £76million fee has been agreed, the Daily Record saying a £650,000-per-week deal has been sorted and the Independent claiming the club have secured a pre-contract agreement.
Another man looking set to leave London is Tottenham’s Kyle Walker.
Walker is thought to be unhappy at being left out of key matches recently and is interested in improving his earning power away from White Hart Lane. And now the Evening Standard claim that Spurs are ready to listen to offers.
Bournemouth are keen to go down the tried and tested route as, according to the Daily Mail, Eddie Howe wants to sign both John Terry and Jermain Defoe in the summer.
