Transfer Rumours - April 28
Expressandstar.com bring you all of the latest transfer talk from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa and Walsall.
We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.
WOLVES
Former Wolves boss Stale Solbakken will try and reach an agreement to keep Molineux loanee Bjorn Sigurdarson in Denmark for next season.
The 24-year-old has a year left on his contract, but head coach Kenny Jackett hasn't found a place in his first-team plans for him much so far.
Copenhagen chief Solbakken may be found by financial constraints, but he's still hopeful of striking up a deal that will keep the player at the club.
WEST BROM
West Brom may make Liverpool forward Rickie Lambert their top striking target in the summer, with their hopes of signing Leicester City ace Jamie Vardy diminishing.
Lambert is still finding match minutes hard to come by at Anfield and, at age 33, the England international may decide enough is enough and move on.
The Baggies are keen on a £4million move with Vardy likely to stay at the Foxes, who are winning their battle to stay in the Premier League.
ASTON VILLA
Leroy Fer will be a potential target for Aston Villa again, if he becomes part of a team relegated from the top-flight for the second season in a row.
Queens Park Rangers are in dire trouble despite the Dutchman's best efforts, managing to score four and set up the same, for the Hoops.
The 25-year-old Holland international wants to play at the highest level, the same reason why he left Norwich City for Loftus Road last year.
WALSALL
All quiet at the Banks's Stadium.
