Rory Schlein hopes to shine again
Rory Schlein is aiming to put his Thursday night experience at Belle Vue to good use in tonight’s British Final in Manchester (7.30).
The Wolverhampton skipper top scored with 12-points from five outings in the ATPI All Stars side as they went down 49-41 to the Aces in the only Premiership standard team event of the year. And with the original date for the British Final washed out on Saturday, the showpiece event has been switched from Ipswich to the National Speedway Stadium.
He said: “I enjoyed it out there and got some laps under my belt.
“Now hopefully we can take that forward into the British Final and score some points. veryone will be in a similar situation, not having raced much and it could make it a really even race for the title.”
The meeting is behind closed doors but fans can watch from home with a top quality live stream available for £12.95 at sportcentral.tv – the first race is 7.30.
