Wolverhampton racer Jacob Thorssell has been back on a bike in Sweden.

The popular Parrys International Wolves man has taken advantage of more relaxed restrictions in his home country to spin some laps.

And like everyone else he’s hoping the coronavirus crisis will ease sooner rather than later to enable him to go racing.

“I do feel a bit lucky because not everyone can go out and practice right now,” he said. “Our Government has a different strategy – it’s basically your own responsibilities.

“We can’t have more than 50 people in the stadium and we make sure we keep a good distance in the pits.

“We went to Linkoping and then Vastervik – and I am grateful because I’m still catching up on bike time from last year when I broke my arm.”

Thorssell signed up for another season at Monmore in a familiar-looking side with American ace Broc Nicol the new signing in the winter.
