Luke Becker’s back with Wolverhampton Wolves
Popular American racer Luke Becker has agreed his return to Wolverhampton for a second successive season.
It’s a perfectly timed present for Parrys International Wolves fans this festive season and it means the club now have the two highest rated riders from across the pond, with Broc Nicol already signed.
The American champion enjoyed an impressive debut in the British Premiership and became an instant hit with the Monmore Green faithful.
And team manager Peter Adams says bringing the 20-year-old back for a second straight season was a no-brainer. “Luke
had a very good first season and it was definitely a lot better than I expected,” Adams said.
“We didn’t quite know what to expect, to be honest with you, because coming over here for the first time is never easy and it was a big step for him.”
It means Wolves now just have one team spot to fill with Jacob Thorssell, Rory Schlein, Nick Morris, Ryan Douglas and Nicol also on board.
“We’re more than happy with the way we’re looking so far,” Adams said.
